1.  Stranger Things

It is a US-based sci-fi thriller with a bit of horror twist. It is written and produced by the Duffer Brothers and is loved throughout the globe for its uniqueness. In Hawkins, Indiana a young boy goes missing under mysterious circumstances and the whole situation becomes even more hectic with the appearance of a girl with supernatural prowess. Although she intends to find the little boy, she is being suspected by the people.

2. Neon Genesis Evangelion

Every 90’s kid who started their anime adventure from Animax and Toonami remembers this series as their first taste of Anime. This series brings back nostalgia to anyone born in that era. Set in Tokyo-3 a futuristic forged city after  15 years of world disaster, this series follows the main protagonist Shinji. He is a teenager who is recruited to Nerv- a secret organization in order to pilot a giant mecha jet called an “Evangelion” against aliens known as Angels. Written by Hideaki Anno, it is one of the best sci-fi anime series ever made.

3. The 100

Another worldwide known and loved series called The 100 is on Netflix.  The series is about a group of adolescent criminals who are now in a post-apocalyptic world. The cast includes Eliza Taylor as Clarke Griffin, Christopher Larkin as Monty Green, and Richard Harmon playing as John Murphy. There is also Paige Turco as Dr. Abby- a member of the Ark, and Isaiah Washington as C Thelonious Jaha, the leader of the Ark.

4- iZombie

iZombie is one of the most popular TV series available on Netflix. It is loosely based on the comic of the same name by Chris Roberson and Michael Allred. In the series, a woman named  Olivia Liv Moore has turned into a zombie during a party due to which she has to drop everything including her career and fiancé. Strangely she can control herself as long as she follows the appetite of her brain and satisfies the cravings otherwise she turns into a ferocious Zombie. So she decides to not eat living people and just settles with the corpses sent for autopsy. A doctor Ravi finds out about her and is intrigued by her situation.

5. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

It is set in a different timeline, and it follows an Afro-Latino teenager named Miles Morales who is bitten by a different type of radioactive spider than the original which bit Peter Parker. Even after 20 years of the original release, this new addition makes it even more enjoyable to its already established audience.
