In most battle royale games, duos games tend to play out more slowly than full squad games. Players aren’t always as aggressive since they have only one another to help them should they catch themselves in a bind. So, they tend to be more methodological, instead of focusing on reckless pushes and superior weapo
Fundamentally, the game looks to be identical on mobile devices. Despite being on a phone instead of a high end PC, "on mobile, this works very well. We had to make a few small changes, for instance, we added a rear-view button on mobile, because you cannot look behind you as easily as with a mouse and keyboard or controll
There are few things in life as frustrating as making it to the PS5 Game Guide’s final circles but running low on health and shields. In most games, players desperately need health and shield items. Even if the players have stacked tons of kills, med kits and shield cells may be in short supply by the time players make it to the end g
Perhaps even more than playing Dead by Daylight , its player base loves speculating about who the next survivors and killers will be to join in on the terrorizing fun that is sacrificing to, or escaping, the Entity. We recently had the opportunity to speak with Mathieu Côté, the game director for the game at Behavior Interactive, and he had some fascinating insight on how these characters are chosen, as well as why Scooby Doo and the Mystery Incorporated gang will likely never appear in the g
This popular movie franchise came out of nowhere and horror fans fell in love instantly. Having the Lipstick Face Demon as a Killer would be absolutely terrifying with its sneaky properties, dark appearance, and having Tiptoe Through The Tulips playing wherever it g
Ripley would have to be the survivor with perks for sneaking and maybe a gadget or two for Killer detection/distraction. Having the Xenomorph as the Killer would be really fun, hard to see thanks to it’s black shell, deals damage with acidic blood whenever it’s damage by a pallet or something, and then be very, very sneaky. From gaming PCs and laptops to accessories, Razer is one of the first brands that comes to mind when gamers are in need of anything video game gear-related. This is especially true when it comes to the competitive scene, with gamers doing everything they can to get a leg up on the competition. There's a myriad of ways in which players can exercise 200 IQ strategies involving these characters. For example, a Wraith can place portals in storm zones, tricking lagging players to taking them right into Caustic traps. The Wraith can also set portals up in tricky locations such as caves or in multi-level buildings, placing gas at each side of the entrance and the exit and making it tough for opponents to move without getting gassed. The gas not only hinders visibility and damages enemies, but it slows them down. This gives the Caustic and Wraith team an easy opportunity to outplay their oppone
In translating the core gameplay to new platforms, Côté describes some of the considerations needed both for the Switch and upcoming mobile version of the game. For Nintendo, "the biggest thing with the Switch is obviously that visually it had to be accommodated and optimized a little bit compared to what we have on high end PCs…However, playing it in handheld, I think there is something kinetic about it, literally you’re so crunched into it, to me it’s a very different experience, I like that. I try to play at least a few games per day, especially on a new platform so I know what the hell I’m talking abo
A word of caution for those who might be ready to upgrade their setup. If you’ve never used professional esports-level gear like this before, there will be a bit of an adjustment period. The sensitivity and responsiveness of the Viper and Hunstman were unlike anything I’ve ever played on before, but soon became second nature. As long as you’re willing to put in the time to learn the ins-and-outs of your new gear, you’ll soon see just how advantageous Razer’s newest products can be in regards to your gamep
Based on the short clip we have seen so far, some incarnation of an Oni appears to be in development, which is a type of yōkai, ogre, or troll in Japanese folklore. These are often large and imposing figures with horns growing from their heads, and typically conceived as red, blue, or green. However, the Oni are also typically represented as wielding clubs, and what we saw in the first teaser on November 11 does not appear to a club, but a sword, so right now it is anyone’s guess exactly what we might
