He’s also relatively silent most of the time, which means that the actor playing him needs to be immediately established as a true threat based on their physicality alone. That quality is what makes veteran actor Vinnie Jones the clear pick, even if Jones would need to work in some prosthetics in order to achieve Roadhog’s signature physique. If Jones can make the Juggernaut (mostly) work, he can sure make Roadhog a thr
Yes, the PlayStation Vita isn't a game, but it's probably one of the most anticipated handhelds of all time. With it, Sony plans to take portable gaming a step further; dual analog sticks, front and rear touch pads, and a beautiful OLED screen make the Vita a gamer's dream. With the promise of always on connectivity and console quality games on the go, the Vita has earned the immense hype surrounding
February, while a month filled with love, will also be a month I hate, mostly because it will end with 249 less dollars left in my bank account. But in place of that $249 I will be receiving a shiny new PS Vita, a handheld I have been dying to get my hands on since back at E3 2011. So, of course my gaming time in February, albeit late February, will be dominated by Vita titles like Uncharted: Golden Abyss , but the title I'm most looking forward to is Virtua Tennis 4 for its clever use of touch and its addictive nat
The role calls for a veteran Japanese actor who is able to convincingly convey a scarred soul, which is why Hiroyuki Sanada is the clear pick. Sanada has appeared as a warrior who sticks to the ancient ways many times in previous films ( 47 Ronin , The Wolverine ), leaving no doubt as to his ability to bring Hanzo to l
In SimCity , the player's goal is to create a harmonious environment for the population. Players can build all sorts of different buildings and locations and they can also help the city survive natural disasters – or put them through disasters on purpose. It was a little ironic then, that one disaster SimCity couldn't get itself through was its own server troub
February is kind of the post-holiday aftershock. A ton of great games are all scheduled to hit gamers where it hurts this month, and I honestly do not have much time to play them. I'll probably be playing Soul Calibur V throughout February, with a little Saints Row: The Third sprinkled in. As for new games though, I'll have one last chance to try out the PS Vita at a launch event later this month, and I'll decide then if it's something I'm willing to part with $250 for. Uncharted: Golden Abyss is looking pretty damn sexy tho
Voting started on December 24th, and ended on January 21st. Each voter was asked to give ten preferences in order, with the first game scoring four points, second and third scoring three, ranks from four to six scoring two points, and the rest only one. Two honorable mentions were also allowed, but scored no points.
Some players stated that they got loading screens that wouldn't go away, others said that their errors showed up during character creation, and many reported difficulties connecting to their accounts. Things got so bad, in fact, that Activision took Diablo 3 's servers down several times to fix the problem, which created a bigger headache for play
_2016 has come to a close and while the new year ahead has plenty of games for us to look forward to, the beginning of the year is also the perfect time to reflect on the games that made the previous year so exceptional, with 2016 being no exceptiona
D.Va is certainly the most meta member of the Overwatch roster. As a professional StarCraft player turned mech pilot warrior, she’s essentially the ultimate anime hero. At only 19 years old, D.Va – a.k.a. Hana Song – still treats the act of battle like a video fps game weapons. Her calls of "nerf this" and "gg" almost break the game’s fourth wall and make D.VA one of the most compelling characters in the g
There's a lot of talk of the PS Vita and while it's a impressive device, gamers should know that this is the time to capitalize on previous generation titles they may have missed. You can find quality titles super cheap. I was able to acquire Tatics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together for PSP for under $10. This title is highly recommended for fans Final Fantasy Tactics since it's from the same develop
As for more current titles, I'm looking forward to Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and SSX . I've been in the market for a new 3DS title, and after checking out the Resident Evil: Revelations demo, I think that might be it. Though I'm more of a Metal Gear fan than a RE one, so I may end up getting Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D inst
Yes, SSX is hands-down my most anticipated game of February, but holy cow! There are a ton of games hitting this month. I'd like to spend some time with Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning , though I suspect I'll still be too busy with Final Fantasy XIII-2 to bother. Meanwhile, Rhythm Heaven Fever is just the kind of quirky distraction I love -- plus, at only $29.99, it's cheap! Post Uncharted 3, it would be fascinating to revisit Naughty Dog's earlier work in The Jak and Daxter HD Collection, even though I only ever really enjoyed the first of those ga
