There was quite a lot of hype surrounding Red Dead Redemption 2 , considering the legendary status of its predecessor. Luckily, this game managed to reach - and even succeed - even the wildest of expectations. Like Grand Theft Auto V , Rockstar took a bit of a risk with this prequ
After killing Jean-Marc, players will need to dump him into a nearby pond at the North end of the property. If players return to the same location and fish near the area at a later time, they will unlock a hidden Easter Egg. Once the line is cast, Arthur will reel something in, but it will not be a fish. At the end of the line, Jean Marc's arm will be attached to the hook, which can make for a sight that is both disturbing and amusing.

A man by the name of Margaret claims he is a female animal wrestler, and his carnival beasts have all escaped. Pleading for help, he asks for assistance finding his lost Zebra, Tiger, and Lion. Luckily for Arthur, these animals aren’t as rare as RDR2's Carolina Parake
Few players know that the quest can actually be completed by Marston instead of Arthur. The language in the final cutscene will be altered because Jean-Marc is threatening Arthur and not Marston. He will remark that Jean is "running his mouth about my friends." This small detail was a cool feature in a game with thousands of dialogue options.
After a few more days the brothers are now found standing at the top of Cumberland Falls outside of Valentine. Similarly, in the original Star Wars trilogy, fans were introduced to one of the most iconic villains of all time and were given fragments of Vader's backstory, but viewers were still largely only presented with the knowledge that once there was a good man before he put on the helmet. By the time the original trilogy is over, viewers know that Darth Vader was once a promising young Jedi, but they don't know that actual character, only that he once existed. The prequel trilogy gave layers and depth to the man who would become Lord Vader, painting a portrait of a passionate and ambitious youth not all too unlike how Dutch's young self is referenced in RDR2 . Each had a vision of the world they wanted to make, and, like Anakin, even as Dutch's plans continued to fail , they were still plans initially made with the best of intenti
But Red Dead Redemption 2 proves the exception, and some feel that the game looks noticeably washed out and rather colorless when HDR is activated. But u/solsikkebby loves it, writing , "I like the washed out, fake HDR look better." Many people would disagree, favoring colorful landscapes and general brightness over a drab palette, but to each their own. This is an unpopular opinion after
These people are simply walking down the street and minding their own business when Arthur approaches, asks if they want trouble, and possibly beats/kills them after they fight back. And this is one of the reasons why Arthur is a true villa
There's no denying that John Marston plays a huge role in Red Dead Redemption 2 . He and Arthur's brotherly relationship is constantly expounded on, and John's character development is necessary for shaping the John that players know and love from the first g
Arthur Morgan is a misanthrope at heart. He just really hates people. It's possible to antagonize random people on the street, and sometimes Arthur will ask them, "You want trouble?" This will either result in the person pleading with Arthur to stop or chastising him and fighting b
It's safe to say that Reddit user u/NFIGUY does not like the game . They penned a long and detailed response as to why they hate the game, concluding, "If I wanted some s*** to be extremely frustrating and difficult to accomplish , I've got real life for th
Rockstar has been one of the most acclaimed developers of this generation, largely for the incredible narratives it creates. While the GTA franchise is certainly Rockstar's crown jewel, the studio's most impressive narrative is arguably the story told throughout Red Dead Redemption _ and Red Dead Redemption 2 _ . Choosing to move back in time with RDR2 made a lot of sense given how the original game ended. Making a direct sequel would have been tricky at the least, but beyond that, Rockstar's decision to move back in time actually changes the overall direction of the entire franchise and possibly for RDR3 as w
